Spleen and nukesaku do some rollplaying!

It had been 4-5 months since I have done 1 hp of damage to another player ... Long ago when UO:R came out I made a dexfag char, and last night I took him out roaming around to see what kind of action I could find at the mines. Now that the land is split into two, the "real" world and the "newbie" world, I figured I would never see anyone at the mines. Luckily, I was quite wrong. The really tough miners mine here, because they can hack it. The people mining in the newbie land are the ones that always walked around naked with only pants, 12 ingots, and a candle to their name. The miners I have seen lately are the kind that used to powermine with two or three packs, carrying their weapons and dressing tough... mmm and how delicious it was. I was running some char by the bank when I noticed a guy going to the smith with a pack in tow, I immediately went home and logged on my new char "warriors pride" (long story).

I find this guy nukesaku mining in the cave. Oddly enough he is still staying in the guard zones, even after I left I had a hard time catching him out of guards. Finally on my third pass his pack was just a few squares into attack range, so I attacked it and it ran up to me.  nukesaku did NOT find that amusing, and immediately busts out on me with his bow. This guy, although he didn't know it, was about to become the first person I have killed since UO:R, and maybe the first charater in a new chapter of my UO career. He should be into honor and all that, so I thought I would let him know... I hit him once, and when he notices the kind of damage I just applied to him, he bolts for the exit.

6 seconds later, he decides running isn't the way to win this fight, since I was running just as fast, so he stops and begins his second offensive. It was a tactical decision that would come back to haunt him.

BOOM!!! He hits the ground really fucking hard as I Rodney King him to the ground. As you can see in this pic, im whacking him once more on the ass to make sure he is actually pressed into the dirt. When his corpse decays, there will be a nukesaki indentation for all to see!!

I bust a nut as I equip my new nukesaku suit and head back to town for the post-fight interview.

Hail friend! There you are!  "hallo!"  Correct me if I'm wrong, but isnt that what turks say? "aloooo!"  Maybe he is half turk, half japanese. A LIKELY combination. Heritage aside, I really want to be his friend. His mining partner, actually.

Why would he decline my friendly offer to mine with him?!   For the record, I WOULD have gone mining with him if he had said yes, just to screw with his head.  Wacking him, looting him, then mining with him would just blow his mind. Then again, it probably wouldn't...  I like how he turns away from me when he says "No".

I am just a weary miner! Let us be friends, nukesaku!!

Back at the corpse, his tough helper buddy Takashi shows up. I offer him some of mine cooked bird.

Hmmmmm. He either 1) doesn't believe I have cooked bird, and thinks that is funny 2) is a fan of B0N3D00D and PLAT3D3WD, or 3) can't read one goddamn word of English and just says "hehehehehehe" because he thinks it is the socially acceptable thing to do, after watching Americans at the bank. I BELIEVE IT IS #3, ALEX!

I run off and get my SpleenSuit back on, and come back grey. As soon as I say "Hail!" Takashi is on me like Guelah on a Fat Chick. It's REALLY hard for me to suddenly use a dexfag after years of being a mage, so the fight actually lasted a couple of minutes, instead of the several seconds it should have lasted. For some reason, I never got a pic of his death, but you can imagine how it ended...  like most fights do : him running around the bank screaming for heals in japanese.  Thanks to UO:R there was only 2 people at the damn bank, and one of them was a miner who couldn't cast! That one person quickly ran out of mana, leaving the burden of keeping Takashi alive on nukesakus shoulders. The entire time, he ran around in his d-robe casting In Vas Mani, but never actually did it! He didn't have reagents, apparently, but thats no reason why he shouldn't give it the old college try! He attacked me with his fists (I'm perma, otherwise I could have guardkilled him) but it didn't seem to have the desired effect. (me dropping dead) Towards the end of the fight, he grabbed his regbag, cast a heal, and failed it. Right when that happened, Takashi died, and I jumped on poor nukesaku with my quarterstaff. He realized what a bad idea it was to grab his bank regbag as his little world faded to black...
